If you are looking for some free OpenSim resources, in particualr trees, then let me recommend the download from Diva. Objects_Library__large_.iar — IAR with assorted objects Very large.
The accompanying screenshot here is from a sim that I am running on a USB drive featuring 60 hi-res trees, really useful if you are in need of some instant foliage.
